David Obuamah is a Management and Financial Accountant with a proven track record of implementing financial and management systems in both the private and public sectors of the United Kingdom and Ghana.
He has held senior management positions at Croydon Council, Surrey and Sussex Probation Trust, and Buckinghamshire County Council in the UK. Upon returning to Ghana, he assumed executive roles at the Controller and Accountant General’s Department and Hedge Pensions Trust, where he currently serves as Deputy CEO.
Notable contributions include setting up systems to monitor grant income of over £250 million and related expenditures for the London Borough of Southwark, as well as reviewing and establishing a £14 million budget for a major London borough using a Zero-Based Budgeting approach.
